Bethany - a church in Ulverston, Cumbria
Who are we?
We are a group of people who are on a journey together - supporting each other through tough times and celebrating together in good times. Our aim is to help each other know God and understand Him better - who He is and what He's done for us.
Whatever stage you are on in your spiritual journey, just starting to explore faith, or very aware of spiritual things, we would love to help you know more. You are welcome to come along at 10am on any Sunday morning - to join in where you want, or just sit and watch and listen to what we do.
Bethany is part of the FIEC - A group of independent churches choosing to work together across the UK.
We are based in the market town of Ulverston, in south Cumbria.
Our church is not far from Ulverston town centre. Information on finding us.
Our morning meeting
We meet each Sunday at 10am for about an hour. We sing a mixture of old and modern songs and learn from the Bible about how to live for God. After the meeting we stay and chat together over a drink of tea and coffee. There is no special dress code - dressed casually or dressed smart we look forward to meeting you. Once a month many of us stay around for a "Bring & Share" lunch, we always bring extra and so you are welcome to come and share without having to bring!
If you are interested to hear some of our talks from other Sundays, they are all online as videos. Take a look at talks from previous Sundays.
If you are concerned about turning up and not knowing anyone, we can arrange for someone to meet up with you so you can arrive together.
